Iconic Rock T-shirts

I don't receive a lot of emails. Most of the time my mailbox gets clogged with different newsletters that I scan through for interesting content or discard of. I get the RollingStone newsletter and I treat it the same way. Besides not being very interested about what current hip-hop rivalry is going on or which teen pop-rock band is reigning the charts, I've just shifted my interests to different things. Believe me, I used to follow entertainment news much more attentively when I was younger and both of the topics mentioned above might have captured my curiosity. Ah, looking back at a young me memorizing the lyrics to pop songs and reading the crappy Bulgarian music magazine "Ритъм". Such were the days. lol

Anyway, back to the point. Still, I often find cool entertainment reads in the RollingStone newsletter. Such as this little feature on band t-shirts on RollingStone.com. Aparently, there's a book out with photographs by Amber Easby and Henry Oliver called "The Art of the Band T-Shirt" with t-shirts for bands like Led Zeppelin, The Pixies, The Ramones, etc. Now that's a book I'd absolutely love to flip through. I looked through the RollingStone gallery and here are my top picks:

A Joy Division 1979 Hidden Pleasures T-shirt / A Yeah Yeah Yeahs 2006 T-shirt with the lyrics for "Maps" / And the favourite of the pack - A Sonic Youth T-shirt from the 90s.
