Orange, Purple and Pink All Over

Let's get one thing straight, I'm a total fashion newbie. I only started following the topic after I enrolled in a design college last fall, even though I didn't have any big intentions on making into the fashion scene, especially not the fashion scene in the country I currently live in. Anyway, consequently I developed an interest in fashion. I decided not to stay in that college and not to enter the fashion industry, but I'm still enjoying fashion as my cool new hobby.

Anyway, I'm not an authority on anything, much less something so grand as fashion. But I do have my tastes. And as I was flipping through style.com's Fall 2007 shopping guide a dress by Dallin Chase caught my eye. I skipped on to his website and found a lot more of their pretty dresses.

I've had a strange distaste for the colour orange, but with one exception. When in moderation and paired with dark pink and the dark violet red or dark purple (sorry, I'm no good at names of colours), I get the feeling that one gets when you toss the overpowering sugary sweet goodness that is called a Russian candy in your mouth. Don't mind me, I received a package from my aunt yesterday.

I love the other dresses as well. Grey has always been one of my favourite colours. The white V-neck dress looks gorgeous. And the last photo is just a good example of how things that you don't really wear together always look so good when paired - a white fluttery summery dress and a warm knitted hat.
